From June 11 to 14, the 2023 Shanghai International Carbon Neutrality Technology, Product and Achievement Expo was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) Shanghai. China Haisum's Dual Carbon Innovation Center made its presence in the Xuhui exhibition area of Hall 8.1H, showcasing one-stop, customized full-life-cycle overall "dual carbon" solutions, attracting widespread attention from governments, enterprises, research institutions, and social organizations.
The first Shanghai International Carbon Neutrality Expo, with the theme of "Towards the Road to Carbon Neutrality", showcased the latest global carbon neutrality technologies, products and achievements. Gong Zheng, Deputy Secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, Yang Yinkai, Deputy Director of the National Development and Reform Commission, and Xie Zhenhua, China's Special Envoy for Climate Change Affairs attended the opening ceremony.
Wang Hongwei, member of the Standing Committee of the Xuhui District Party Committee and Deputy District Director of Shanghai, Dong Wenyao and Liu Yongzhi, Director and Deputy Director of the Xuhui District Development and Reform Commission, Wang Ting, Deputy Secretary-General of the Carbon Neutrality Special Committee of the China Energy Conservation Association, and leaders of Hongmei Sub-district in Xuhui District visited China Haisum's booth mainly to understand the advanced comprehensive treatment (clean incineration) project for domestic waste in Changsha, the largest domestic waste incineration treatment project in terms of a single-line scale and total scale that was designed by China Haisum and built and put into operation at one time, and "dual carbon" business, to which they gave their praise and affirmation.
Leaders of China Tobacco Hubei Industrial LLC, a partner of China Haisum, visited the exhibition site and had in-depth exchanges with the person in charge of the Company's Dual Carbon Innovation Center on energy conservation and carbon reduction in the tobacco industry. They also communicated on the joint construction of the project of EATNS carbon management system.
China Haisum's Dual Carbon Innovation Center participated in multiple forums and activities at the Expo, exchanging with and learning from domestic and foreign experts, scholars, industry leaders, and representatives of social organizations on how to accelerate the process of carbon neutrality and promote green and low-carbon development.
